OpenAdapter Support
This page provides basic support information for OpenAdapter. A public contact channel will be added here before public distribution.
Getting started
OpenAdapter runs a local adapter on your Mac. The adapter is off by default. Open the app, review the local endpoint, copy the local client configuration snippets, and start the adapter when you are ready.
Local model behavior
Bundled local models run on your Mac through OpenAdapter's sandboxed local runtime. If local model readiness fails, check the in-app Local Models or Local Chat status message for the specific artifact or runtime error.
Cloud provider behavior
Cloud providers are optional. If you configure a third-party cloud provider, confirm that your API key, account permissions, project configuration, quota, and billing are valid with that provider.
Privacy and notices
Read the Privacy Policy for data-use information. Open source and bundled model notices are available inside the app under Settings, Open Source Notices.
